Great for helping splinters to the surface. Just use gel and cover w a bandage. Also good for bicycle wreck wounds that leave those teeny little rocks in the skin. Great drawing salve. Lifelong user of this product.

Fun fact: this isn't the first time that Krestol was available in a small jar. Back in the 1940s there were jars of the Krestol Salve, the Mentholated Ointment, and other McNess products. We wonder if these were put in jars due to metal rationing during World War II?
The two main ingredients in Krestol Eucalyptus Gel are traditionally known to disinfect and heal wounds. (Cresylic acid and eucalyptus oil.) This special blend has been around for generations and is unlike any other product available. In fact, Krestol Salve was first introduced in 1908, the year the McNess brand was started.

Have used this product all my life. We always had a tin of it in the house. Back then it came in the red and black tin but it was called McNess Man or Beast Salve. I have recommended it to many of my friends.

Love having this in the smaller container for travel and keeping it fresh. We tend to go in spurts it seems using this. I've had the bigger containers sometimes for years before we used it up. ( not sure that was a good thing). This way I can have one in my car, one in my travel bag. One at home.
