Mentholated Camphor Rub
Formerly known as Mentholated Ointment, this highly popular classic McNess product uses the exact same traditional formula.
Both menthol and camphor are traditionally used for minor aches and pains of the joints, like arthritis, backache and sprains. Camphor is also known to reduce itching. Although it has traditionally been applied to the chest to be breathed in to reduce coughing, recent medical studies show that this should not be done with children. Do not apply menthol or camphor products to open sores. (Check with your medical professional for proper uses.)
This special McNess formula combines both menthol and camphor in one formula and is the same product that has been around for generations.

I was at my grandmas house recently and noticed the mcness can by her sewing machine although now full of buttons i rembered when i was a child my grandma would rub the menthol mcness on my chest for my colds to help me sleep so i did an online search to my delight found the mcness methol rub . ordered a can which i am pleased to report is still as great as i rember.

I am 52 and used this product my whole life until it was discontinued a couple years ago. I was so happy to see that they are making this product again and ordered 6 cans of it right away. My whole family is very happy it's back.
I like this more than I like Vicks Vapor Rub and that means a lot because I loved Vicks Vapor Rub but have found a replacement for it...................McNess Mentholated Camphor Rub has taken over!
I have used this ointment for 63 years. My aunt introduced it to my mother when I was little. I hated how strong other ointments were but this is just right. Traveled international for years and it went with me. I carry a small container in my purse all the time. I am so happy it is back. Great for colds - rub on chest, small amount at base of nose and it makes having a cold or flu tolerable.

My family has used this product for over 50 years on scrapes and cuts and sore muscles and many other things!! I think it is the best product ever made and I have always had it in my home.
Now in my 60's, I grew up using this product, as my dad always referred to it as 'miracle salve'!!! It is the best ointment for colds and soothes the pain of any type of cut!! I am elated it is back on the market!!! I purchased tins for my children too, as they love it also!!!!
Was extremely disappointed when I heard that it was being discontinued. So much so that I purchased three to make sure I had plenty on hand. But know I have to purchase more because my family conficated my sparese. Some people say why not just use the other ones that are out on the market. If this wasn't availabe I would, but, this is different. It is more soothing that others because it isn't as strong of a sent. However, you get the same results.
