Champion Madagascar Vanilla Compound (12 oz)

I have been using this vanilla for over 40 years and it is always consistently the best.

Our family has used this vanilla since I was very young (I am 74). My mother also sold McNess and we always loved their puddings, nectars, spices, and of course vanilla.

Years ago I used whatever vanilla flavoring I could find but I was never happy with any of them. The artificial one obviously didn't cut it. Other pure vanilla brands always seemed like the flavor I was looking for just wasn't there. Then one day I was given a bottle of McNess's Champion Madagascar Vanilla Compound. It has the most intense vanilla flavor of all of that I have tried. It is rich with a very intense vanilla bean taste. After doing research about what makes a good vanilla extract, I found out it is the Madagascar vanilla that makes it so good, and McNess got it right. I don't know what I would do if McNess stopped making it. When you find something that works like it is supposed to, you don't want to change it. And of our baked goods, one never tires of hearing; 'It has great vanilla flavor.' If anyone asks me what vanilla I would suggest, the first thing out of my mouth would be McNess Champion Madagascar Vanilla Compound. Please, please, please don't ever change the recipe!

We found McNess vanilla while shopping at an Amish store in central Illinois. We had been using Watkins double strength Madagascar vanilla for years, but the price went up. We decided to try the McNess because it used Madagascar vanilla beans. We weren't sure we wanted to try it because of the vanillin used in it. But we gave it a try. We really like the flavor. We've been through our second 12 oz. bottle and we were happy we could get it on-line. So we ordered another and also one for our daughter.

I have been a loyal customer of McNess Champion Vanilla for over 40 years. I was first introduced to it back in the 70's when they still did in-home parties. Love this stuff and I make sure I never run out. I always have a spare in the pantry.

Growing up in rural Illinois, we were used to the McNess man coming to our home a few times a year. My mom always bought the Champion Vanilla, Cinnamon, and various other products, including the salve. Years later, I searched for and found McNess-Furst online and purchased the vanilla and the cinnamon. It's just the best product available, as far as I'm concerned. I've been using this vanilla since my grandmother sold McNess 40 years ago. I've tried others and they simply don't compare. McNess is wonderful!
